In T-BOSIET training, participants will learn how to prepare for emergencies, use safety equipment, and provide first aid in emergencies such as fires and other emergencies, particularly in offshore areas. In addition to BOSIET, many educational institutions also offer HUET and Sea Survival training. HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) is a helicopter underwater escape training. This training aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to maximize their self-rescue in emergencies where the helicopter is forced to land in the water and is likely to sink.
Meanwhile, Sea Survival is the basic theory of survival at sea, covering an introduction to safety and security equipment at sea, their names and types, and how to operate them, along with practical training in the field. However, if participants have already completed BOSIET training, they are not required to take HUET and Sea Survival training.
